In the car on the trip home from an outing ............
Daughter: Mom, my tummy hurts.
Mom: Well, just lay back and rest.
Daughter: Mom, my tummy still hurts.
Mom: Stop eating chips and just look at the fall leaves.
Daughter: M-o-mmmm! Are we gonna be home soon?
Mom: Just a few more minutes....
Daughter: MOM! I'M GONNA THROW UP!!!!
Screech ........
Scramble ........
(door flies open while car still in motion ... said daughter leans out over the shoulder of the road but not quite in time ...)
Ugh. Those last 10 miles were long miles for all of us in the car.
